Chapters Beyond Books - A Jack and Jill of America, Inc. & Children's Defense Fund Partnership

The Northeast Dallas Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is extremely excited to announce that it is among the first chaptersin our organization  to donate to the Children’s Defense Fund (CDF) Freedom Schools® at Home Chapters Beyond Books Program.

Through the Chapters Beyond Books partnership, organizations that make a generous donation to the CDF receive a shipment of culturally-relevant books to distribute into the hands and homes of children in grades K-12. The CDF’s goal is to distribute nearly 50,000 books across the country to families, helping them build their in-home libraries while also developing and nurturing their child’s love for reading.

The Northeast Dallas Chapter will be distributing the books that it received as a result of its donation during the Garland NAACP’s Annual Back-to-School Fair.
